Wario Land II

Description

Seeking revenge on Wario after he stole their treasure in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, special agents from the Black Sugar Gang of Kitchen Island sneak into Wario's newly built castle, steal back the treasure, and leave the castle and the surrounding area a mess. As Wario, you must clean the place up and take back what you now call your own.In a change from the original Wario Land, Wario is now immortal, to a certain point. Instead of dying when hit by an enemy, Wario loses the coins he collected along his travels in each level. And he can also turn into other Warios. For example, if he is hit by a bee, Wario puffs up into a giant ball of air, and floats up to the top of the level. Only when hit by a sharp object will he return to normal. There are other types, like Fire Wario and Zombie Wario, and each can have its advantages, like getting to other areas otherwise unreachable, or they can halt your progress.

Secrets

Flagman D.D. Mini-Game

Beat the game with 100% treasures and map pieces. Along with an extra level, you will also get a mini game: Flagman D.D.

Secret Level/Ending

To access a secret level and new ending, instead of waking up Wario to begin the game, let him continue to sleep. Level 1 will come to an end, pirates will carry Wario out to the nearby woods where the level begins.

Skip The Basketball Bunny Boss Battle

When you get to the door that enters in to the bunny boss, simply pick up the little swordsman that is on the other side of the room and throw him(full strength) against the wall above the door, go through the hole in the wall you just made, pick up the swordsman again and throw him into the next wall, go through that hole and there is the secret exit.

Soft Reset

Anytime during the game, you can hold down Start and Select then press A and B simultaneously. This will reset the game back to the title screen.

Codes

Boss Battles

Beat the game with 100% status with all treasure and map pieces. The levels with a boss will have a skull nearby them on the map, marked with an arrow. Choose one of these levels. Then at the name of the level screen, hold Down and press the A button. You will now go directly to the boss.

When playing on the Super Gameboy, go to the hidden Chapter.

Glitches

Reverse Hill Slide

This glitch allows you to slide the wrong way up a hill. Position yourself about 3 or 4 steps from the top of the hill. Body Slam (B Button) up the hill. At the top, press Down. If done correctly, Wario will roll away from the top of the hill, going up the hill.
