 Description |
This coin-op conversion of Splatterhouse is the second game in the series (after Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti on the NES) which was later continued on the SEGA Genesis.Rick and his girlfriend Jennifer enter West Mansion (known as Splatterhouse) to study Dr. West's parapsychology teachings for a school project. After a flash of lightning and a scream, Jennifer is gone, and Rick is left wearing the Terror Mask, which gives the wearer great strength.Rick must survive seven blood-soaked levels full of corpses, demons, and other disturbing creatures in this arcade side-scrolling beat-em-up. Several weapons are at Rick's disposal throughout the house, such as a meat cleaver, a two by four, and a shotgun. If Rick wants to find Jennifer alive, he must move quickly through the floors of the mansion.... as a happy reunion is not always guaranteed. |

Level Select When the prologue starts up and there's a house in the rain, press Select 3 times, followed by pressing and holding down-left on the directional pad and then press button 1 or 2. It'll bring up the option to select a level. |

| At the title screen, hold Select until "HARD" appears on the screen | Hard mode | Sound Test First enter the coded to access the stage select option. When the screen comes up and asks you to select what stage you want to start on, press and hold the select button. After a second or two, the stage select option will become a sound test menu. Allowing you to listen to various "songs" and sound effects of the game. When you're done listening to your fill of music, hold select again to change it back to the stage select menu. |
