Description

Aiming for further realism, Slugfest removes many arcade elements from the original Ken Griffey N64 title, replaced with more simulation style elements.For the second time around, new inclusions feature updated team rosters and stats, a new behind the pitcher camera perspective, and a new create-a-player mode.Full support is also included for 4 players in home run derby mode, and 2 player exhibition, while the expansion pak allows for higher resolutions for players and stadiums.

Exploding batter
While in the batter's box, quickly press Right, Left, Down, Right, Left, Up, Right, Left, Down. Then your batter will explode and reappear after the next pitch.

View fireworks
Select exhibition mode. Then at the stadium selection screen, press Z to enter "View Stadium" mode. Then, press R + Z to shoot fireworks near the home plate section of the stadium.

Flying outfielder
Wait until a pop fly to the outfield is hit by your opponent. Allow the ball to drop, then pick it up. Hold Z and press C-Up to run into the infield with the ball. Then, press C-Right, C-Up, C-Left, C-Down, C-Left, C-Up, C-Down, C-Right, C-Up, C-Left, C-Down to throw the ball to various bases. If you entered the code correctly, the crowd will boo. Then, intentionally ignore the next ball that is hit into the outfield, and repeatedly tap A or B to fly.

Cheats

(Season Mode) Heal Tired Pitchers

During Season Mode, after pitching a game, your player will be tired. Release him from you roster to the free agents pool, then resign him. Now he will be ready to go for the next game. There is no risk, the computer will not sign your player.

Automatic Homerun

When batting as Ken Griffey Jr. press Left,Left,Right,Right,Right,Left,Left on the D-Pad before the pitcher pitches the ball. Now all you have to do is make contact with the pitch.

Big Footed Players

Type on the Create A Player screen CODE BIGFOOT

Big Heads

Go to the ''Create Player'' option and type ''Code'' for the first name and the following code as the last name, ''BIGGHEDZ''. A confirmation signal will sound.

Big Legs, Skinny Torso

Go to Create-a-player and put ''Code'' for the first name and ''Weebleman'' for the last name. This will make all players have fat legs, feet, and head, but a skinny torso. (Looks kinda like a T-Rex)

Computer Exhibition

To have the computer play both sides, enter:

Flat Team

Go to the Create A Player option and type Code for the first name and Steamrolled for the last name.

Hidden Teams

To unlock the staff teams of Angel Studios and Nintendo, simply go to the Create A Player screen and tipe CODE for first name and EMOTIONS for last name.

Invisible People

Type CODE INVISIBLEMAN in the Create A Player screen. Players will be invisible except for their clothing.

Little Players

Type on the Create A Player screen CODE LIDDLELEAGUE

Phattbatt

Name your create-a-player ''CODE PHATTBATT'' to make the bats larger.

Steamrolled

Name your create-a-player '' CODE STEAMROLLED'' to make them thin as paper.

Super Players

To be able to create characters with full stats, on the Create A Player screen, put as first name CODE and as second name SUPERHUMAN. You'll be back at the menu screen. Go back to create a player, and when you create your new player, he'll have full stats.

Very thin players

Go to Create a Player and type CODE TOOTHPICK.
