Description

Professor Xavier and his Uncanny X-Men are all that stand in the way of the rampage of Magneto and his henchmen. Choose any two X-Men comic book characters at a time from the likes of original members; Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Iceman and Nightcrawler.The game itself an over-head view through your choice of 4 levels and a practice mode. Your goal in each level is to reach the hidden 'command center' and destroy it. No matter which character to choose, you ultimately have 2 buttons you can press as you move your character around. The B button will make your character jump and the A button will make your character attack. Half of the characters (Storm, Iceman, Cyclops) have long range attacks while the other half (Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus) must get in close range to punch the enemies. Should your two characters fall in battle, you will be able to choose two more to attempt the level again until all of the X-Men are used up.Power-ups include an "S" which stops time, a Magnet (symbol of Magneto) which renders your character immobile, an invincibility powerup and a health restore.
